Miswell Lane, Tring, Crossing Eventually Opens After a Month's Delay

Liberal Democrat county councillor, Nick Hollinghurst, after over a year's campaigning and lobbying on behalf of local parents and residents, was delighted when the council's contractors started to mark out the new zebra crossing in Miswell Lane, Tring. It was positioned just where two footpaths, well used as routes to Goldfield School, cross the busy Miswell Lane.

Litter Picking Party : anyone who walks to the Aquadrome from the Moneyhill entrance will have noticed the recent improvements in the path down to the bridge. Phil, our splendid Barrow Beat man, cleared it up a couple of weeks ago and some residents have offered to carry the good work on a bit further. If you are willing to help, meet at the bridge just below the Moneyhill entrance to the Aquadrome at 2.30pm on Sunday 29th March - bags/equipment provided. …………………………………………………….. Tuesday 24th March is the next meeting of the Rickmansworth Local Area Forum at Three Rivers House. All Rickmansworth residents are welcome. There will be a community safety update from the Police, a short talk from the local Fire Service and a senior TRDC planning officer to give an update on development and planning in Rickmansworth. There will be an opportunity to raise other local issues. …………………………………………………………… A TRDC resident has been fined £2,800 by the Court for dumping cracked asbestos cement sheeting.
