Watford and Three Rivers
As many of you are aware we have a vitally important set of elections facing us in Watford and Three Rivers in May.
The ever popular Dorothy Thornhill is campaigning to be re-elected in Watford, while in Three Rivers (which we have controlled since 1999!!), the whole Lib Dem team are campaigning hard as they have all-up elections on new boundaries.
"The previous Labour Government failed to give any sort of priority to two key elements of infrastructure development in connection with our new, and long awaited, hospital, namely the new Link Road and the Croxley Rail Link. But thanks to the committment of the Coalition Government to economic recovery, treasury funds have been made available to finance this socially important infrastructure investment."
Watford Borough and Herts County Council are lead partners in these developments and Dorothy is proud to have played a major role in helping to bring this about. In addition, Mayor Dorothy Thornhill has been particularly closely associated with the important mixed housing development that redevelops redundant industrial land to provide homes within the borough.
