TRING BY-PASS - ROADWORKS /ROAD CLOSURE

The Tring by-pass between Fox Road Roundabout and Tring Hill Roundabout is to be surface dressed due to the worn out surface.

The work is programmed to start on Saturday 31st of May and should be completed within 5 days between the hours of 09.30 and 16.30

The road will be closed during these times; which may disrupt access to your property or business but every effort will be made to keep this to an absolute minimum.

Diversion Route: A signed diversion route will be provided which will divert traffic via A41, A414 Two WatersWay, A4146 Leighton Buzzard Road, A4146 Leighton Road, A4146, A418 Aylesbury Road, A4157 Douglas Road.

Following the surface dressing, aftercare works will include:
> Three separate visits for sweeping to remove loose chippings.
> The replacement of road markings and studs where applicable.

The work is weather dependent and from time to time unforeseen circumstances arise, any changes to the proposed start date, duration or working hours will be notified on the information boards at either end of the road on www.hertsdirect.org/roadworks

Neither Hertfordshire County Council, nor their contractors will approach you offering to carry out works to your property. Any cold calling of this nature by people claiming to represent Hertfordshire should be viewed with suspicion and reported.
