Three Rivers District Council Elections, May 3rd 2018 - Robert Johnston, Lib Dem Candidate for South Oxhey Ward

Robert Johnston has lived in South Oxhey for more than 10 years and he and his wife Anka have brought up their family there.

He is a scientist and engineer whose work has been in materials science as well as in, mathematical modelling, control theory, artificial intelligence and information systems security.

He holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Physics as well as a Diploma from Imperial College in Mathematical Physics and a Ph D in Theoretical Physics.

After working in theoretical physics research in the UK, France, Switzerland and Germany he joined GEC plc as a research scientist and continued with BAE Systems as a Principal Engineer.

In 2013 He was appointed BAE Systems International Engineering Fellow.

He is now an Independent Scientist and Technology Advisor at KritiK, his own organisation.

Robert is interested in European, national and local politics and is keen to play a role in helping and representing his local community in South Oxhey as a Liberal Democrat member of Three Rivers District Council.
