Resurfacing work, carried out on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council, will begin on the A4147 in Hemel Hempstead on Friday 6 June.

The works are part of a £500,000 resurfacing scheme that will last for 16 nights on Maylands Avenue, Hemel Hempstead between the A4147/A414 St Albans Road roundabout to the A4147/ Swallowdale Lane roundabout.

Crews will work through the night to replace worn out sections of road, replace damaged iron covers and re-apply road markings. The work is weather dependent and from time to time unforeseen circumstances can arise and work may continue outside the advertised hours. Any changes to the proposed start date, duration or working hours will be announced on the information boards on site and will be available at www.hertsdirect.org/roadworks This work is being delivered by Eurovia Infrastructure Ltd, working on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council.
