PYNESFIELD GRAVEL
Last year the Pynesfield Gravel Extraction application was refused and the appeal was turned down. But now construction work is taking place at the field entrance by Tile House Lane. A number of people have asked why. Some years ago Bucks CC gave permission for gravel extraction on Denham Park Farm land (it's in Bucks) but insisted that access must be from the A412 ! Three Rivers objected to this but were over ruled. Permission was given later to improve and alter the junction/access onto the A412. That is the work that has now started and will take 10 weeks.…………………………………………………………….

TRDC has been informed that The Coach House/ Maxwell Stewart Office building next to the BURY LANE public car park will be vacated in May and redevelopment will start soon. The developer wishes to erect scaffolding around the building for about a year. This involves part of the car park and TRDC is insisting that the developer protects the car parking spaces

REALLY GOOD NEWS - TRDC HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN ITS BID for Government Grant Funding to support the South Oxhey Initiative Scheme to REBUILD THE CENTRE OF SOUTH OXHEY - new shops, new homes, new business and community centre and public spaces. We have been granted £2.3m towards the scheme from the Government Evergreen Infrastructure Fund through the Local Enterprise Partnership. It is part of a boost for a wide range of housing, employment and infrastructure projects.
