Cedar Tree rescue - when the roots of the failing cedar outside Three Rivers House were exposed this week in preparation for providing extra water it was discovered that the tree had little or no soil around the roots, it was just packed with hard core and debris hidden away there by the builders of the office more than 20 years ago. Smoking remains one of the biggest causes of ill health in Hertfordshire where almost 1 in 5 adults still smoke. Over a third of local smokers have been offered illegal tobacco which comes in the form of smuggled or counterfeit cigarettes and hand rolling tobacco. It is sold at about half the price of legal tobacco and attracts young people bringing them into contact with criminals and making it easier for them to get addicted, Please share any information about sales of illegal tobacco with Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
