We can now dispose of food waste in plastic bags into the food pods. The recycling plant has confirmed they can deal with this. We can also still use compostable liners, newspaper and corn starch bags. Loose food is accepted but not black bags. We hope this will encourage people to recycle more food and stop putting it in the refuse bin. Plastic bags are still not accepted in the recycling bins.
