The renovated Ebury Play Area was officially opened on Friday 8th. The number of families who came along was fantastic, estimated at about 500 people large and small, and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Do have a look, and a go on the equipment if you haven't been already. It was such a treat to see the children taking turns, trying new things and enthusiastically joining in with other groups.

The wood piled up along Riverside Drive and in the Bury Grounds will be cleared in the next few days.

The link road A405, from A412 to J17, is covered in litter. The HCC Highways contractor failed to clear the litter before cutting the grass so the litter was shredded and spread further. TRDC cannot just go and clear it because of safety considerations. A way of achieving a clean up is being considered.

Three Rivers Museum has been given some old film from 1962/3, Les Mead has edited it into views of the High Street featuring the Swan Hotel. The next sections are the Post Office, and the Premier Supermarket, the first supermarket in Ricky. 1963 had a snowy winter and the Swan Landlord's son Robert can be seen tobogganing behind the Hotel and in Ricky Park. Last shots are of a school sports day on Scotsbridge playing fields. Were you there? https://youtu.be/6MYwO9uEJoI
