Chainsaw artist Will Lee has just finished working on one of the main pieces in the Woodland Trust's natural play area at Tring Park.

Will made these fabulous carvings from an ash tree which was blown down in the storms at the beginning of last year.

The carvings are an echo of Tring Park's past: the site was once part the Rothschild banking family's estate, where Walter Rothschildamassed a plethora of exotic animals. These new wooden animals are one of the main pieces in the
natural play area for children, which is really starting to take shape!
