Liberal Democrats Field a Candidate for the Berkhamsted Town Council By-election on February 18th

Berkhamsted Town Council by-election will be held on Thursday 18th February for the Berkhamsted West Ward.

The Liberal Democrat Candidate Gordon Yearwood said "I am pleased to be accepted as the Liberal Democrat Town Council candidate for this by-election - I share their values of a fair, free and open society."

He went on to promise "I will get things done for Residents - locally in Dacorum and beyond. I want to be the Resident's voice on Berkhamsted Town Council"

Berkhamsted West Ward residents who are on the Electoral Register will receive a polling card ahead of election day. Anyone who has not received a card by Tuesday 26 January or who wants to check whether their name is on the current register should call 01442 228000 and ask for Electoral Services.

Residents who will be voting in person can use their designated polling station. For those wishing to vote by post, application forms are available on Dacorum's Elections page or by calling 01442 228000 and asking for Electoral Services. Residents wishing to vote by post must ensure their postal vote application is received by 5pm on Wednesday 3 February. The deadline for applying for a proxy vote is 5pm on Wednesday 10 February. You can of course ask us to send you the relevant forms.

Polling stations will be at Lagley Hall, Douglas Gardens and All Saints Church Hall, Shrublands Road. They will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 18 February.

Don't forget, you must be on the electoral register to vote. Register by midnight on Tuesday 2 February.
