Lib Dems win 4 of the 10 County Council seats in Dacorum
Liberal Democrats have gained five seats on Herts County Council. 1 of those in Hemel Hempstead, and another in Berkhamsted
Hemel Hempstead Town (Apsley, Boxmoor & Town Centre) was gained by Adrian England. Hemel Hempstead St Paul's (Highfield, West Adeyfield & Old Town) was held by Ron Tindall both wards were heavily contested but at the end of the day, local people can see the hard work that Adrian and Ron currently do and will continue to do for them.
Just over the border from Hemel, Nigel Taylor gained the Berkhamsted Ward, and Sally Symington held Tring for the Liberal Democrats.
The Liberal Democrats also narrowed the gap in Bridgewater (Northchurch, Potten End, Gaddesdens, Markyate & Flamstead) with a massive 11.5% swing from the Conservatives to the Liberal Democrats.
Hertfordshire County Council now has 23 Liberal Democrats (up 5), along with 46 Conservatives (down 5 seats), 7 Labour (down 2 seats), one Green and one Independent.
