Herts Highways at Fault AGAIN - this Time with Faulty Link to the Highway Fault System!

16 Mar 2013
Pothole Sketch

Words failed County Councillor Nick Hollinghurst when he received the following e-mail. So he reproduced it as sent to him unchanged, typo and all. He has, however, to placate the angry Executive Member of Highways, Cllr Stuart Pile, now removed the name and contact details of the Head of Customer Services (which the officer himself published in the county's e-mail apology).

"Launch of new online highways fault reporting system - correction from Herts County Council

Hertfordshire County Council apologies for the incorrect link supplied last week for their online highways fault reporting system which should have been: www.hertsdirect.org/highwayfaults "

It says it all, really!

Would anyone like to tell the Hertfordshire County Council what they think of its service delivery? Especially with regard to highway maintenance, perhaps?

Go to the Hertsdirect website and start with "Tell Us" and then click on "Comment, compliment or complain". Unfortunately the link on their site Comments, compliments or complaints about Hertfordshire County Council services does not work. Follow the link entitled Complaints procedure instead. You should find a list of Complaints Managers on the county website with phone and e-mail contact details.

Remember, the Conservatives run Hertfordshire County Council.

Now, you're not going to support them in the 2nd May elections, are you?

All we are saying…. is give Lib Dems a chance! (with apologies to John and Yoko).
