Don't Risk the Recovery

Only the Liberal Democrats can be trusted to continue the economic recovery, and continue it fairly.

Our policies have helped businesses create one million jobs and 1.5 million apprenticeships.

Labour can't be trusted with the economy. In government, they nearly bankrupted Britain. Now they want to borrow even more, putting everyone at risk all over again.

In government, the Liberal Democrats are cleaning up the mess they created and building a stronger economy, but we are also making sure we create a fairer society too.

Cutting the deficit alone without a proper plan to create jobs, as the Conservatives wanted, would not have led to the kind or recovery we are now seeing.

We blocked Tory plans to allow bosses to fire staff for no reason and introduce lower pay for workers outside London.

At the same time we made sure we are putting extra money into manufacturing, renewable energy and growing businesses.

Only the Liberal Democrats can build a stronger economy and a fairer society.
