Herts County Council are giving notice of three stretches of Road Works that could be potentially quite disruptive.

All to be carried out in a period starting on 28th January 2019 and probably having to be completed (for financial reasons) before the end of March.

1. Hempstead Lane, Potten End, from no. 64 south eastwards for a distance of about 180 metres.

2. Miswell Lane, Tring, at the top from B488 Icknield Way back down to Windmill Way.

I have asked that the signs at the junction with Icknield Way are relocated - both are badly positioned and the one obscures the other. I have also asked for more effective hedge cutting to take place!

3. Station Road, Tring, from Beggars Lane past the station and as far as the junction with Northfield Road - a distance of 536 metres.

The road surface down here has been in a poor state for about a year with a number of repeated temporary repairs having been required. It is hoped that this surface relaying will produce a lasting improvement.
