Cow Roast Ditch Cleared

Nearly a year after serious flooding spread water right across the A4251 at Cow Roast near Tring a series of works have at last been carried out.

In particular the ditch on the canal side of the road has been cleared out and recut to an adequate depth. The pipes and culverts also appear to be cleared.

However but you cannot easily check the pipes under the main road leading into the ditch on the canal side of the road.

Nor the length of pipework underneath the motor showroom forecourt.

But let's hope this work on the ditch has finally cleared the problem!
