County to Go Yellow as LibDems Chalk Up Success After Success?
Local Liberal Democrat activists in West Herts have had a busy year so far. Teams from Dacorum have been involved in a series of elections both local and further afield ... and at every level.
First up was the Parliamentary by-election in Eastleigh, Hampshire. Despite far-fetched predictions of a Conservative gain ... it was of course a LIB DEM WIN.
Next came a Dacorum Borough Council by-election in Adeyfield West. Despite the Yellow Team starting in third place, both Tories and Labour were brushed aside to produce ... another LIB DEM WIN.
With two County Council Divisions to hold - one in Tring and one in Highfield St Pauls, Hemel Hempstead - the Yellows had some serious work on their hands in May. But hard work and candidates with good track records of service paid off ... TWO LIB DEM WINS this time.
Finally came this month's Town Council by-election in Berkhamsted East. This time the Tories really tried their best, but in a hard fought campaign the result was ... another decisive WIN FOR LIB DEMs
As the picture seems to suggest ... THE FUTURE'S YELLOW!!
