Big Delegation from West Herts Liberal Democrats on Anti-Brexit March

West Hertfordshire Liberal Democrats sent a large delegation to take part in Saturday's march to protest against the folly of a hard Brexit.

The photo shows the West Herts Party Chair Sally Symington with a group of fellow Liberal Democrats from Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted.

The picture was taken in Park Lane at the Unite for Europe March and also shows Berkhamsted activist Rick Freedman and Hemel Hempstead Branch Chair Steven Wilson.

Also on the march but not in the picture was Greg Duffield from Berkhamsted who has been selected to stand for the coming by election on Berkhamsted Town Council.

Voting in this by election will be on the same day as the County Council elections on 4th May.

Sally Symington, who is standing in the County Council elections in the Bridgewater Division, said of her experience on the march, "It was a really encouraging experience - there was a huge sense of community and solidarity as part of a shared endeavour to promote an open tolerant and united country."
