Cllrs Williams, Khiroya and Trevett Staying Safe

Local Chorleywood Lib Dem Councillors, Phil Williams, Raj Khiroya and Martin Trevett, are shown, masked and socially distanced - following the rules that help to protect us all.
Phil, Raj, Martin and all their local councillor colleagues want to say a 'Big Thank You' to all NHS and key workers and volunteers during the Covid crisis.
The crisis has highlighted Three Rivers' community spirit and the dedication of our local council staff and essential workers.
As part of Operation Shield, Three Rivers Council set up a food hub with 11 staff in April, in partnership with Herts County Council.

The hub worked with the Watford and Three Rivers Trust, local schools and places of worship to support 2,273 people and by the end of July had supplied around 45,000 meals across the District.

Local Lib Dem councillor Phil Williams volunteered for the Chorleywood Coronavirus Support Group.

Council Leader Cllr Sarah Nelmes and local ward councillors have praised the outstanding contribution of local people in assisting the sick and vulnerable, donating food.
They followed government guidelines without complaint to keep everyone as safe as possible in this unprecedented situation.
